Actually, I wanted to disable the password policy. What
happened was when I forced the policy it reset everyone's
password...and this is not what I wanted. I just wanted
the users to change their passwords at the next
logon....now i realize what i should have done.
Since then, located in the Group Policy Management, for
the domain password policy and I just changed the GPO
Status to disable all settings, will this disable the
policy? I don't want to run into the same mistake again,
i need to disable it because the policy will take effect
again in 60 days :(
Assuming, after disabling all the settings disabled the
policy, I am a little confused because when I am in
server management, manage users, then I check the
configure password policy, it appears the policy is still
setup? Why?
Please help. Thanks so much Roger.
