Exchange via VPN fails to find store?

This weekend installed exchange and moved our company
mail in house. Server is:
SBS2K3 STD, 1 Nic, Cisco Pix Firewall what is used for
VPN to second site.
Everthing went smoothly, until I tried changing the email
on one of the clients at the remote site that connects
via the VPN.
There are a couple XP clients at this location. The first
one I changed over was non-SP2 running Outlook XP (office
XP Pro). This one configured fine just as my local ones
did. Due to the VPN speed I didn't push Outlook2K3 to
this client (I did all the local clients). Will tackle
this when I'm on-site in a couple days.
The second client I tried was XP w/SP2 and it has Outlook
2K3 already installed (Office 2K3 Pro). When I add the
exchange account, I enter the server name and the user
name, and they check ok, but then I go back into the
account setting to change the location of the files to
server it says it can't connect to the store.
At first I blamed this on SP2 and tried various settings,
finally uninstalling it completely. Still same results.
I looked at the IPconfig for both remote computers and
they are the same other than IP address and Computer name.
I can reach the sever for all other functions, so I know
this computer should be able to find the store.
For testing I configured a local computer for this
account and it worked fine so I'm fairly sure the account
it'self is fine, so this must be a connectivity issue.
My exchange is not SP1 yet since my boss logged in sunday
in the middle of the change over.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Ralph
