Hi Merv,
I have an external nic in sbs 2003 server already. It
has an IP from the cable modem that dish's out IPs.
So When you say "External NIC Small Business 2003 server
(IP xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx in the same
subnet as LAN side of PIX)" I am assuming an IP from the
cable modem. Now I tryed connecting the PIX directly to
the Ext Nic of server but it would not register a
connection on server with the PIX.
You mentioned "Run a cable from the PIX to the external
PIX" what do you mean by this?
Also what command(s) do I use in hyperterm when connected
to the pix console to "Port forward port 1723 and GRE
Protocol 47 to the IP of the external NIC" ?
Thanks,
JJ
