IF you are using Trend Micro C/S/M for SMB follow these insrtuctions...
Make sure to change the default location for quarantined files and viri from
C:\program files\Trend\SMCF and SMEX to
C:\Trend\SMCF\Quarantine and C:\Trend\SMEX\Virus. You could also place into
another partition i.e. D:\Trend\etc...
Next, Exclude the folders from backup using the wizard. You cannot exclude
the file loactions if they are in the \Program files, \windows, or \documents
and settings file paths.
Also, verify that the Scheduled, Real-time, Manual, and Scan Now options all
have the folders excluded.
That should help. No more failed backups and no more discovery of viri in vss.
