John, I'm really grateful for your input - thank you.
I hit a wall after step 1 (Please be gentle with me - it's my first time!).
I went into Administrative Tools > Routing and Remote Access and, for the
life of me, I cannot see NAT/Basic firewall listed.
What I do have is:
Routing & Remote Access
SERVER (local)
Network Interfaces
Remote Access Clients
Ports
IP Routing
Remote Access Policies
Remote Access Logging
Sorry if I'm being a bit dim!
