Ed
Saw your post & thought that I would throw my 2 cents in. I have two PC's at
home, A desktop hard wired to my linksys router connected to my cable modem
and a laptop via wireless.
When I first started administering my SBS2K3 server remotely I was using
TSWEB on the desktop. All was going fine for a few days & then I started
getting encryption errors on the server side & was getting kicked off the
server. I would have to reconnect. I could work for a short while & then get
the encryption error messages & get dropped again. Wow was this ever
fustrating! It got to the point where I would be connected for just a second
or so before getting kicked off!
I then founf that I could connect wusing TSWEB on the laptop w/o a hitch.
Well a short time later I started getting the errors on the laptop! Now to
the point where I can't connect!
I then found that I couls use Remote Desktop from the desktop PC w/o
problems now but now the laptop can't connect via TSWB or RDC but I can
connect w/o problems from the desktop via Remote Destop!
It looks to me that it has to be something on the client side. I have
cleared the cache, deleted temp. files, Temp. internet files, Objects & such
& still can't connect via laptop BUT the Desktop is ok.
Hope someone can chime in with some ideas. The desktop is down in the
basement!
