Hehe :)

I'm trying to think back to when it started happening but I can't work out
when or how. The partciular workstation that I've just noticed it on has
direct access to the internet through a secondary gateway and doesn't have
the ISA client installed.

I've just checked a laptop and it also suffering from the same problem. The
laptop has the ISA client installed and has to go through the server. I
haven't used WU since installing ISA but was planning on dealing with this
problem later this week

I think it's is unlikely to be a hardware issue unless one of our switches
has developed a fault. The workstation only has the one network card, but
the laptop produces the same error and same network delays when using its
10/100 nic as well as a Cisco Aironet wireless card. All the documents
suggest ignoring the errors but it is definately affecting network
performance. I couldn't work out why accessing network shares was so slow
and got progressively worse but on testing again this morning it seems
directly related to the mrxsmb entried.
