Either the PIX or the Windows Firewall is not allowing the VPN connection
inbound from the internet.
A. Check the Windows Firewall.
1. Open the Routing and Remote Access MMC from the Administrative Tools
menu.
2. Expand <server name>/IP Routing and click on NAT/Basic Firewall
3. On the right side, view the properties of the server's external nic.
4. Click the Services and Ports tab.
5. Look for a service named "VPN Gateway (PPTP)". Make sure it has a
check in the box and click OK.
If this service does not exist, run the "Connect to the Internet" wizard
(CE-ICW) from the SBS 2003 To Do List. Choose the option to enable the
firewall and check the box for VPN.
B. Double check that the PIX is allowing VPN through.
