David, here's the output for checkdb:
"Msg 8946, Level 16, State 12, Server .... Line 2
Table error: Allocation page <1:1> has invalid PFS_PAGE
page header values. Type is 0. Check type, object ID and
page ID on the page.
Msg 7995, Level 16, State 1 Server .... Line 1
Database 'master' consistency errors in sysobjects,
sysindexes, syscolumns, or systypes prevent further
checkdb processing. DBCC execution completed."
The Sharepoint instance of sql is there and running. I
uninstalled and reinstalled IIS about a week or so ago as
prompted by EV stops when I could no longer config the
firewall. The reinstall seemed OK until these issues
developed. Also, of note, is that I was also prompted to
reinstall Server Tools, but have not been able to do so
from setup. Every attempt fails. However, since
Exchange, POP3Connector, and basic services were reliably
functional it wasn't a significant issue in and of
itself. Now, though, companyweb and rww are also absent
and I've been having to reset OWA Directory Security to
permit all IPs in order to keep OWA accessible.
I've already done a ground-up reinstall of SBS once before
due to similar issues, and I'm trying to avoid it again.
Interstingly, I have an identical box at another site
installed at the same time that has been absolutely
perfect since day one.
