Hi Simon

I had the exact same problem the other day whilst trying to create a new
user on a sbs2003 server - i shutdown the exchange system attendant and any
other exchange related services and restarted them. Then i delted his account
including his mailbox (even tho it did't exist) and re-created his account -
hey presto a new mailbox was born.. check it out if you can.
