Can you connect to their PCs when they are off site....from another LAN
based PC?

You say you have tried this from the server, and I assume it did not work
there.

Of course, I suppose that RWW and VPN have ports open and forwarded to the
LAN Server.

If I understand you, some of the appropriate ports on your router would be
configured for this.

Are the Outgoing ports enabled in the same way - they are usually set to
allow all outgoing traffic, but obviously something is stopping it.

Do you have ISA installed? or even your router (if you have one), is this
allowing the appropriate ports and protocols to pass through??

Is XP SP2 related to this? Did this scenario ever work? If it has never
worked, I wouldn't suspect XP SP2, but if it stopped working at that point,
then it could be suspicious. If it works inside the LAN then the local PCs
can't be the issue, but when they work outside, you are going through a
router (maybe if you have one) and ISA (if it is installed)

considering your situation, I would look at these "components" next.
Hope this helps in some way
regards
Mario
