In order to resolve the first part of your post, go to the following link
and download the hotfix and then install it. That should take care of the
authorization issue.

Secondly, to access the site by a different url. Modify or create a
different host header for the same ip addresses in the IIS the company web
site. You will also need to add another cname in DNS for the site so the
name can be resolved.
