I am trying to migrate from a SBS2000 SBS2003 on a new Server. I tested the
Users migration and group migration and the both worked fine. When I try
testing the computer migration 30 out of 36 computers fail on the agent
install with the error RPC server unavailable. I followed the instructions in
the MS KB article 337366 and RPC is running on all machines, File and Printer
Sharing for Microsoft Networks is installed on all machines, IPC$ and Admin$
shares exist on all computers. IP address is same range as SBS2003 and
obtaining lease from same. I can telnet to port 135 on all machines. When I
try net use \\computername\admin$ the majority of the computers that fail the
agent install return an error The password or username is invalid. System
error 1326 has occurred, however 4 of the computers that fail the agent
install connect with no errors. . They are all XP machines with SP1 and all
hotfixes and patches up to date as of friday Aug 20/04, with the exception of
my machine which I have been running SP2 on for about a month. (it is one of
the machines that fail). Otherwise they are all running basically the same
software.

Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong with these 30 computers
