Have you resolved this problem yet? Another poster had a problem with Google
and fixed it with the following info:

Try following the steps in this KB article and see if it will get your DNS
to start resolving correctly.

After reading Jonathan's post I did an nslookup on google.com and
www.google.com. The returning packet for www.google.com was 574 bytes!
