Marina:
I am not using DHCP on my W98 clients. This is really a
legacy from the configuration of our old NT 4.0 server
based network.
On one W98 client I just made the change to DHCP to see
if that makes a difference. It logged into the network
no problem, but still cannot access companyweb. My W2000
and XP clients use DHCP; accessing companyweb is not a
problem for those clients.
I cleared the cached internet files also on the same W98
client, no improvement. None of the W98 clients have any
trouble acessing other server-based files, folders,
services or applications.
I do not think I'm using ISA. How can I tell? I am
using a 3com OfficeConnect firewall, that's 192.168.100.1.
Thanks again,
Peter S.
