Here is my configuration:

SBS2003 Premium Editions
ISA2000 and SQL Server 2000 installed
MX record now points mail to our server.
Linksys 4 Port Router with DHCP Diabled & UPnP ON
WinXP Pro Workstations
WinXP Pro Laptop
Office 2003 Enterprise Edition

I use a desktop at work and a laptop. I do NOT have the laptop connected to
the domain. It's a member of my home workgroup. I have used POP3 accounts
in the past and set them up on my desktop at work and on my laptop. I have
always found myself needing to have access to both machines because sent
mail and tasks would be inevitably be on whichever machine I was NOT
currently using. I'm hoping Exchange 2003 and a little education will make
life easier. My goal is to have all files and and email accessible to me on
either machine when I'm on line or off. Is this possible? I'm familiar
with the Remote Web Workplace it would be great for accessing some things
but I'm really looking for more. I'd like to work on email and files on the
road and then have them synchronize when I have internet access or when I
return to my network. Does anyone have any suggestions or good links to
resources? I followed the directions on the Remote Web Workplace screen
under Additional Links "Configure Outlook via the Internet". It didn't
work. I'm thinking maybe because this laptop is not connected to the
domain? Any ideas or information on efficient mobile computing would be
appreciated. I'm assuming that I will need to use, VPN, Offline Files,
Outlook via the Internet. Just need some down to earth resources. Thanks
very much in advance.

Steve
