Well then here's a little step by step for you:
1) Contact your ISP and have them setup an A record (Should be named the
same as the certificate for your server ie. server.yourdomain.org - This is
created when you run the CEICW) that points to the IP of your server - The
certificate will also come into play with RWW, OWA and Outlook over HTTP,
but that's another post
2) Have them setup an MX record for your server (server.yourdomain.org) with
a priority of 10
3) Have them set your current mail server (mail.yourdomain.org) up as a
backup mail server with a priority of 20
4) If you have a firewall or router make sure that TCP port 25 is forwarded
to the external IP of your server (if you have 2 NICs) if this doesn't
apply, go to # 5
5) When you run the CEICW make sure you set your mail domain as
yourdomain.org so that all of the email addresses will be correct.
