Marina..
I set everytthing as suggested in your email and I lost
connectivity from the workstations. I reset back to it
what it was so staff could use the system..

Assuming your suggested config is correct, is it possible
that port forwarding may be wrong? Have lost article that
stated which ports to forward to the server IP..server IP
in my case..would it be 192.168.16.2?

When on the remote connection..do I just put in
192.168.16.2 on the set up or do I also have to go to the
network tab and set up tcip to point to the server IP
address or to the router address..

When I looked at the log before reseting Nics so people
could get onto the server, message was there that
basically said that the DHCP server was not active.. I
went in and looked and indeed it was marked with red "x"
and when I set NICS to determine own ip and looked at log
again, it was active..

One more.. Sorry for all the messages but... when I
introduced the switch onto the second nic card, should I
have also ran a cable between the router and the switch?

I will have to wait until the weekend to try this again
as to not disrupt the staff using the server..

Thanks again in advance..
