I have a SBS 2003 server connected to the internet via a router. For the
default website and the intranet website everything is the default install.
So the setup is working like this. I have the default website working just
fine, inhouse (http://servername) and outhouse (http://x.x.x.x). I can get
to it via http or https. The webpage that is there is the default one that
has four links:

My Company's Internal Web Site
Network Configuration Wizard
Remote Web Workplace
Information and Answers

For the internet site I am able to get to my remote login as well as my OWA
(which is having problems, but for another post). I am having problems with
the intranet.

Now the first link is suppose to go to the intranet (http://companyweb).
Well when you click on this from inhouse, on the LAN, you get a "page can
not be displayed" page--you get this also from the internet but it's
understood why. When you go to this page on the server it works perfectly
fine. But when I try to get there from any other computer on the LAN its a
no go.

The IIS settings have the companyweb running with port 80 and 444 with the
host header values are companyweb and companyweb.mydoman.local. To clarify,
I used to get a page that said I was unauthorized and had to check my
permissions--this was from the server, then I did the MS update
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=cb7e90a1-de9d-4a83
-85f8-951e9f055bf0&displaylang=en) and it made the intranet work from the
server but I still have no access from the LAN.

Any help or ideas are greatly appreciated.

Jose
