I was restoring about 10 gigs to a server using v2i and
it takes about 30-45 minutes from first starting until
all the way back up, I also had occasion to use the built-
in from a tape and it took almost exactly the same amount
of time. These were both baremetal retores.

So my question remains, is Acronis that much faster? and
if so how much?

I too was surprised that the tape ran that fast, I was
expecting it to take much longer.
