I'm not sure if this answers your question or not. If you have an Outlook
Contact and you enter a birthday or anniversary on the Details page, Outlook
automatically creates a recurring appointment for the event(s) on the user's
calendar. Removing the birthday or anniversary, or even deleting the
Contact entirely, will not remove the recurring appointments from the
calendar. AFAIK, the only way to remove it from the calendar is to manually
delete the entries.
The Activities tab in a Contact will show any Outlook items for that contact
(e-mails, appointments, etc.) anywhere in the user's mailbox, depending on
your choice in the Show drop-down list. So you could be seeing all kinds of
items relating to that contact, or other contacts linked on the front page,
but you shouldn't see items for completely unrelated contacts.
