Hi Laura,

The Firewall on the lan connection of XP clients should be turned off.
If you have ISA installed on the server, check that the firewall client is
installed on the clients and that the LAN-settings in IE are pointing to the
server for proxy and port 8080.

First let the server succeed in getting access to the internet.

I'll reconfirm all and post back.
I've never checked to make sure the XP firewall is
configured, just the SBS one. Where do I find this to
setup?
Also (Jeff Loucks), what proxy do I need to setup on the
clients? I haven't set this up before either.
Last I checked, my IP Config on the server was this:
INTERNAL:
IP:192.168.0.100
Gateway: [none]
DNS:192.168.0.100
EXTERNAL:
IP:192.168.1.100
Gateway: 192.168.1.1 (router)
DNS:192.168.0.100
DHCP:No
WORKSTATIONS are set to DHCP server as router DHCP is
disabled.
As I stated earlier, I can directly connect a workstation
to the router and see it. However, when I move the patch
cord back to the switch so it's forcing it to go through
SBS, it gets lost. Of course, SBS can't get through
either.
Yes, I've rerun ICW and the proper NICS are pointing at
the LAN & internet.
I'll reconfirm all. (I was getting blurry-eyed last
night...)
