We have one laptop in the office that has a permissions
issue with one network share. Other laptops don't have
the issue.
the user has domain admin rights and also has admin
rights to the specific server on which the share exists.
The server is a Win2003 Server. The laptop is Win XP
Pro. The Domain Controller is a Win SBS 2003 server.
We have a directory that is shared, and under it are
several folders that are shared.
I can map the parent directory and read/write files.
I can map to the subfolders that are shared and
read/write files.
There is one subfolder that, when I map to it, I can read
but not write or modify. However, if I access that same
folder through the parent folder, which is mapped, I can
read/write/modify.
Any reason why, when the folder/share is mapped, I can't
modify it's contents?
Thanks for you help,
Reed
