Hi Karl,
I think Frank's opinion on Dialup is quite right. When you install ISA2000 on SBS 2k3, you do not need to configure ISA2000
manually to use the the PPPoE dialup connection. This can all by done by CEICW. When you complete the CEICW, the PPPoE
dailing task will be registered as a service and run at every time server start. You even do not need to logon to your SBS server.
At this point, I suggest you to remove the dial up entry in the ISA 2000 and follow the KB article to re-run the CEICW.

| Hi Karl
|
| AFAIK ISA doesn't do the dialing. If you connect the ADSL modem directly to
| the External NIC you run CEICW with the PPPoE option and get a continuous
| connection to Internet which allows Exchange continuous Email and ISA
| control Internet Access. The problem with this is that sometimes connection
| by PPPoE is a little slow resulting in timing errors on server restarts. A
| four port wireless netgear router is $19.95 at Amazon

| If the NFP is a good cause I might even be tempted to donate that ;-)
