Network delay for one client machine only?!

I'm having trouble with network delays on one of my 5
client systems.
On the one system, there is a long delay (1 to 2 minutes)
when I click on 'My Network Places', in order to browse
files / folders on the other machines. None of the other
4 systems have this problem. They zip along through the
other machines' shared files, with no issues.
Any ideas as to the cause for the delay on the one
machine?
(*For further background, I had posted the below question
previously ...)
Thanks,
Todd

Subject: My Documents redirection

Nevermind ... I *think* I found the answer. (It seems to
be working for now, anyway.)

NOTE: Sometimes, you don't see the three options
namely, 'Restore Default', 'Move', and 'Find Target'.
This is due to the presence of "DisablePersonalDirChange"
value in the following Registry path:
[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Policies\Explorer]
*********************
I removed that registry key, and then used the
the 'Restore Default' button in the My Documents
properties box. That seems to have done the trick --
unless, of course, a group policy setting kicks in, and
redirects it again!
Thanks,
Todd
