Rick,
Frank is so right on this. You should not need to be logged on for the App
to respond, although it wouldn't surprise me if ACCPAC designed it this way.
Contact ACCPAC and see if they have a fix for this. It is a security risk to
leave your box open all the time.
Generally a fix of this nature would be to have the program run as a service
instead of as an application.

Jeff Loucks

Hi Frank,
The reason that I wanted to do that is that I am running a
web based crm product on my server, ACCPAC CRM, and by
having the server with the screen saver on after 10
minutes with password protect had my end users getting
booted out of the application if nothing was done on the
server for 10 minutes.
Removing the screen saver with password protect eliminates
this problem. I am not sure if there is a better way to
do this, but that one works.
Thanks.
Rick
