Just a quick update on this.
This looks like an error in both MBSA and SUS. I am running SUS
1.0.3630.2552 on my SBS2003. When I run IE Windows Update on the client
there is no critical update needed. But MBSA reports a version problem with
dbnetlib.dll at 2000.81.9031.3 instead of 2000.81.9042.0 .
I have determined that SQL server SP3a loads a revised version of MDAC and
leaves Q328797 in the update registry. The Q823718 fix was installed months
ago.
Anyone know how to fix SUS? Should I just disapprove the fix?
