Hi,

I have just setup a SBS 2003 Server for a client with 5
new computers running Win XP and Office 2003. The problem
is MS Word, as it takes 20 to 30 second to load up. If
the network cable is disconnected Word loads up quickly
but if the system is connected to the network it slows
down, copying from Workstation to the Server is fast, I
have checked up the DNS numbers and DHCP Server settings
and they are OK. The only difference that I see in Win XP
under the Network connections is that, there are two
connections one for the Local Area Network and one for the
Internet. I have checked up the other systems that I have
setup in the past and they only had the Local Area Network
connection. I do not know if this causing of this problem.

I have also deleted the Network printer thinking maybe it
is causing this problem, but it was not.

Any Idea?

Thanks
