How long have you been waiting on it Jason? I have seen it take as long as thirty minutes, and for the most part it looks like it is just sitting there.
Also you may want to try installing it after doing a clean boot to make sure nothing else is interferring with it.
To do this open msconfig from the Run line. (Click Start, Run, and type msconfig)
Click the services tab, and checkmark "Hide all Microsoft Services", then check disable all.
Click the startup tab, and click disable all.
Reboot, and try installing this way.
