Hi Cris,

A client has asked that the Finance workstations and the
admin workstations not have Network Neighbourhood
visibility. It has nothing to do with performance as the
two LAN segments are all linked to the same gigabit switch
anyway.

A trial using W2k3 with routing enabled on RRAS allowed
the two segments to see all those on same segment but not
other segments, yet were able to ping etc through to each
other, which is what the client was after. But it appears
that the wizards in SBS configure some settings that
disable a second Lan segment.

Surely if Lan routing was turned on (with all three NICs
already installed and enabled) the routing would have the
correct tables already.

A additional hardware router would be method of last
resort.

Thanks Dale
