Hello,
I had to reinstall SBS 2K3 because of a faulty motherboard. The existing one
was a Duron 2000+, the new one, an Athlon XP 2400. Both with 768 MB ram.
I tried to avoid re-installing, since SBS had been running so smoothly por
the past months, but for whatever reason, I had to reinstall.
The installation process was smooth, out of a DVD, no problems. I configured
SBS with the IP address, SMTP, exchange, IIS, companyweb, etc, etc, etc as
usual.I also installed the Exchange SP3.
Now I'm getting this Remote Access error:
Unable to add the interface {4E3CB8A8-92E9-42F8-8CC8-7A872CF2517B}
with the Router Manager for the IP protocol. The following error occurred:
Cannot complete this function.
And I can't VPN into my box. The server is behind a Linksys router and has
PPTP port open, along with the VPN passthrough enabled.
I re-ran the connection wizard and got this message in event log:
The following settings were successfully configured by the Remote Access
Wizard:
Virtual private network (VPN) access is enabled.
IP addresses are assigned to remote client computers by using the DHCP
server provided with Windows Small Business Server 2003.
Still cannot connect, this is the error from the client:
A PPP conversacion was attempted but the remote server did not respond. This
error occurs when the remote server does not support PPP, such as Windows NT
3.51..."
I had been using the same connection for months
It hangs at "Verifying usernname and pasword..."
I am also getting errors from MSExchange IS such as:
Accept clients on External Interface MAPIRPC failed with 0x4b1

Any help would be appreciated!
Regards,
Luis
