In our small office we currently have a peer to peer network of 5
machines, with 1 running Windows 2000 Prof and the other 4 running XP.
The Windows 2000 machine is effectively acting as a file and email
server (email through a utility called public outlook). We are about
to add a new PC and I was wondering whether purchasing a server
bundled with SBS would be worth it. The current 'server' seems to be
stuggling with the large amount of emails and the large number of
office files that are accessed from it, although it is unlikely that
the number of users will increase significantly in the near future.
Would the standard version of SBS be difficult to set up for our
needs, and if SBS would be of benefit, what sort of hardware do you
think would be sufficient?
Thanks
