Hi Dave,
I managed to get it working. They recommend another
dedicated box which would have been a ton easier but my
client didn't have another one laying around so I took the
plung.
The one that I had to figure out myself was to get MAPI
onto the server. The only way I could figure that out was
to install outlook and then uninstall it.
The other "oddity" is that the Blackberry service doesn't
start correctly when the server has been restarted so it
has to be started manually. I know it is a dependency, I
just don't know on what.
Oh, and the SQL database was installed as complex which
caused volume shadow backups to fail, but I just changed
the database to simple and everything is good again.
Other than that, it actually has been rock solid to date.
