Bob,
This might seem overly simple, but it sounds like you are trying to log in
locally. From your login screen, choose "Options..." and see if the "log on
to" is your local pc or the domain. If you are using your domain username
and password but trying to login locally, it won't work. Another way around
this would be to login with username@domain.local.
The reason I suspect this is that you mentioned you logged on as
administrator, but were prompted for username/password when browsing to the
server.
