The behaviour here is:

When an xp OS is joined to the domain with /connectcomputer;

a) RDP connections are enabled
b) the user has permissions to connect via RDP.

As this functionality didn't exist in 2k, and as the computer was already a
domain member - the configurations must be done manually after the upgrade.
