Could be a candidate for a reinstall, but could also be a candidate for a
fixer upper, depending.

Still got internet connectivity ? Try Trend's housecall if you suspect some
virus or other malware.

What makes you think it's virus related?

Your other issues (network, exchange, pop3) are likely connected to each
other, so if you post full error messages from the event log, one might be
able to say 'hopeless', or not.

If you don't want to bother fixing what you have, it may be a good idea to
know what went wrong last time around. You either have a good idea of that,
or not. If not, you could provide some details on your installation steps
(including hardware, network topology, etc.) and we could help make the next
install better hopefully.
