Personally I find trying to do what "they -think- they want" or "what
someone else -told them- they want" to be like fitting a round peg in a
square hole. Far better to find out what their pain is and addressing
that with the tools and techniques -you- know how to deploy and
maintain.
I just don't have enough of a handle on this problem space to be able to
advise you beyond the hints I've given you. You may or may not be able
to work them into your solution.
