Thanks for the reply. However, I've now reinstalled the complete system
based on:
Gateway box. DHCP Server 192.168.0.1-254. gateway is 192.168.0.1
ADSL Modem connected to gateway. Broadband uses PPPPoE and establishes
connection.
Server. 2 NICs. Internet NIC gets 192.168.0.2 from Gateway.
Internal NIC gets 192.168.16.2 from SBS2k3 DHCP server.
Switch connected to Internal LAN with Belkin54g connected to switch.
Wireless Access Point IP Address 192.168.16.254 manually configured and
reserved in DHCP.
At this stage hardware RAID has been deleted. I'll look at software RAID1
later.
HDD was pre-partitioned and formatted (NTFS) all (4) CDs copied to to my
(administrators) drive.
Boot SBS2k3 from CD1 in CD-ROM and start install.
Delete drive C and recreate with NTFS. Install CD 1 to this.
On reboot, cancel install and change registry settings to install SBS from
HDD.
Reboot and continue setup.
I redirected user data to drive D: and Exchange data to drive F:
One error on installation. Could not install monitor. Rebooted and ran
setup again to install monitoring. Worked OK.
Continued with "To Do List" (except I learned not to keep doing "Activate
Windows" the hard way).
Installed Printers. Added new User Template. Added users and computers.
Have the two W/S tried so far connect successfully with server. (Four to
go) Outlook 2003 installed automatically on each W/S.
Created disk for remote computer. Me, at home.
Ran both programs on my system at home (XP Pro) and tried to connect with
