Exchange won't start after clean install!

I keep getting the same errors on startup after a clean
install (before any configuration) of SBS 2003 Standard.
Before I even get a chance to login, it says a driver or
service failed. Exchange won't start. I get 7000, 7001,
7009 events basically saying Exchange is timing out. When
I check services, Exchange System Attendant and Exchange
Information Store are set to automatic, but not started.
I can start them manually, but on a restart the same thing
happens again.

The interesting thing is that, for the heck of it, I did a
clean install with a evaluation version of SBS 2003 RC1
(first version). Exchange has no problems starting. But
when I reinstall with the full version, it happens again.

I've found others who have had this same problem, but no
solution that works yet. Does anyone have any experience
with this problem? It would be greatly appreciated.
