That's not a bad suggestion anyway.

With the exception of a VPN connection (which has become less frequent with
RWW and TS etc)., becoming an officescan client (and using a license) is a
bit of a waste. If you're not going to connect to the lan and use the
Officescan server for reporting, updating, status reports, setting policy
and priveledges, and all the stuff that Officescan allows, you gain
othing. - why not just use PC-cillin.

PCcillin and Officescan offer the same protection, the difference being
Officescan has the management console and facilities to manage the network.
If you're not on the network, can't be managed by officescan, so pccillin is
the better product - simpler for a stand-alone machine. The license cost is
about the same.
