Luke,
You can move all the Variable Data, Logs, Caches etc to the D Drive and
just
leave the core Os/s on the C Drive.
Move the PageFile First - this should free up extra working space on C.
Set it as a Fixed Size 150-200% of the RAM. ( things get tight again you
can then shrink it for extra breathing space )
Moving Data Folders for Windows Small Business Server 2003

You can also change the ISA cache location from ISA Management - ( Cache
Configuration.)
You can also move the Temp Folders ( System Properties )
You can also delete or move the service pack uninstall files.
If you're running SQL Server you can Uninstall and re-install it under
another folder ( Servers ?) on the D Drive.
Similarly for ISA Server and any LOB Apps and servers.

performed an upgrade from windows 2000 server to SBS 2003. This worked
more or less fine. However the initial operating system installation was
done by another company who allocated only a 4 gb partition to c drive.
The disk is 37 gb The rest of the space is partitioned to another drive
d. It is a scsi disk.
> My question is, how can I increase the size of drive c ? What options
do i have, as it will soon run our of room (Approx 400mb available as we
speak) It would be preferable not to blow the disk away and reinstall.
> I have been thinking of blowing the disk away, resizing the partitions
and using the asr to restore the os and a backup to recover the rest of
the data ? Is this a good idea ? does the asr require partitions of the
same size to work ?
