Hello Marina, thanks for responding.

I've put static IP in etc on second ic , below is new
ipconfig/all for server. Still no joy connecting to
Internet from client I'm afraid.
PS The second nic has nothing plugged in.

Am I trying for the impossible by having my dial-up DSL
modem using a USB connection ?
