Thank you thank you thank you. I've been trying to get this to work for
over a month. Didn't see that option for the instructions until you pointed
them out. Worked like a charm!

: Hello,
:
:
: Here are the instructions for configuring RPC over HTTP. You do not need
: to use KB article 833401 (some people come across this article - it does
: not apply for SBS). The CEICW does everything for you.
:
:
:
: To configure it for the server:
:
: Re-run the Internet Connection Wizard and select RPC over HTTP as an
option
: (modify Exchange setup). The CEICW can be found on the "To Do List" in
the
: Server Management tool as "Connect to the Internet".
:
:
:
:
: Here's how to configure clients to use RPC over HTTP:
:
:
: Log into the Remote Web Workplace on your SBS 2003 server. You can do
that
: by opening IE and typing in localhost/remote You will be prompted to log
: in, which you should do as administrator.
:
: Then, when the workplace page comes up, on the right side of the screen is
: a small grey box "Additional Links"
:
: The second option in that box is "Configure Outlook via the Internet"
:
: Click on that link and follow those instructions EXACTLY.
:
: They are customized for your SBS2003 server.
:
:
: You should be good to go.
:
:
:
: The only "gotcha" I've come across is the need for the following hotfix on
: the client computer is it isn't XP SP2 or later:
:
:
:
: Q331320
:
: Outlook 2003 Performs Slowly or Stops Responding When Connected to
Exchange
: Server 2003 Through HTTP on the client computer
: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;331320
