WAIT A MINUTE!!!! You indicate that you are getting email from Microsoft
about critical errors? Did you click on these emails? If so, you may have
introduced some malicious code or viruses to your systems. These emails are
NOT from Microsoft, and that is probably why you cannot access Windows
Update.
