Pick one of those two (I would pick POP3, just because I'm more familiar
with it). Make sure the service is running. Assuming that you have 2 NICs
and ISA create a packet filter to open port 110 (for POP3) or 143 (for IMAP,
I think!). In fact, the POP3 server can be opened just by running ICW and
selecting it from the screen. If you have a router in front of ISA make sure
you also forward the appropiate port. At this point you should be able to
"telnet your.sbs-server.com 110" and get the POP3 server to respond. After
that, configure OE or OL to connect to the server using that address.
Be aware that this will only solve mail problem. You will not have shared
calendars or other OL features as if you were in the LAN (or VPN).
