Have you added that w2k server to the SBS-domain and have you read the helpfile about adding memberservers in the ServerManagement console?

    Well, I am certain is has been asked a few hundred times on this board. To bring it up again... I can't run DCPROMO on a win2k server in a W2K3 domain.
    I have called 911 but they don't seem to care...
    I am currently installing sp4. As far as I know this machine was patched through sp3 when I tried to upgrade.
