When you boot the box up, you should get a bios signature.
In any case, it seems that this box is really not suitable, Mike. In all
likelyhood, you are going to run into frustration after frustration.
If you're looking for a decent test box, try ebay. Even something like a
Dell Poweredge 1300, which could be 4-5 years old will work just fine, and
you can pick them up for a few hundred bucks. With dell, and most similar
manufacturers, you can get all the updates right off their web site, all in
one place, even for the older machines.
