Hello all,
I am reposting this with a bit more info with the hope that a solution may
be found:
We are wondering if it is possible to use the inbound modem connection in
SBS2K3 as a dial-in
connection for users that will allow them to surf the internet on their
client machines using IE6, through the broadband connection of the SBS
Server.
I know clients can dial-in for VPN connections etc..., but is this internet
access
type of use supported and configurable?
We'd like to folks on the road to dial in to do the normal things - check
email etc..., but also allow them to launch IE on their laptops and have the
ability to surf (albeit slowly) if they need to do so. This would eliminate
the need for a dial-up ISP for these folks.
With the abundance of high-speed internet in hotels and hotspots worldwide,
they would only need this on those rare occasions that none was available.
Running SBS2K3 Premium - ISA NOT installed - 2 NIC setup with router and
broadband Internet connection, 56K modem on
phone line.
Thanks in advance!
JS
