Use a monitor utility to check the CPU and mobo temperature. The HD
temperature is of equally important concern but is more difficult to
monitor. The upper temperature limits of all these components is well above
what humans would find liveable ie. >100 F.(~38 C.). So if you can tolerate
the room and IF 'BIG IF' the case is very well and 'effectually' ventillated
then the HW will be OK. A couple of BIG case fans and big CPU fan/heatsink
and possibly HD fans/coolers will do the trick if they are installed
correctly and the box is installed such that the hot air going out isn't
sucked right back in. Greviously violating the above rules will cause HW to
overheat in a 20 C. room.
The number one factor that diminishes HD life is high temperature.
