Hi,
If you are not using ISA, then configuring the Intranet for Internet access
can be done through the Connect to the Internet wizard (CEICW) from the To
Do List in the Server Management console.
Under the firewall settings, you can select which sites to allow external
access to, Windows Sharepoint Services intranet site (CompanyWeb) is one of
them. That web site is then configured to use SSL (with a self issued
certificate) on port tcp/444 (note this is not the standard SSL port, you
will need to open/forward that port if you have a router/firewall in front
of SBS).
>From the Internet, you will be able to connect to the site by using
https://fqdn:444 or https://public-IP:444 .
If the client you are using for testing is behind an ISA server, then
further configuration will be needed on the ISA server side to allow SSL
tunneling on the non-standard port.
